L-Shaped Kitchen with Island Floor Plan
A 10.8 m² kitchen drawn as an L of counters along two walls with a free-standing island facing the third — around 11 m² net.
A complete floor plan for a compact kitchen: an L of base units along the north and west walls, a free-standing island opposite, and a work triangle that stays inside the recommended limits. Drawn at real wall thicknesses with the counters, sink, stove, dishwasher and fridge in place and fully dimensioned — open it in the editor and stretch it to your own room.
The Layout
The room measures 3.6 by 3.0 metres inside the walls, with the door in the south-east corner so nobody walks through the work zone. The long leg of the L runs along the north wall: a counter, then the sink directly under the north window, an appliance bay beside it, the stove, and a final run of worktop — the classic sequence, with worktop landing next to both the sink and the hob. The short leg turns down the west wall with two more counters and the tall fridge at its end, putting the fridge, sink and stove within a work triangle of about 5.6 metres total, comfortably under the 7.9 metre guideline with no single leg over 2.6. The island stands free in the eastern half of the room, 1.8 metres of clear aisle from the west leg, giving a second worktop and somewhere to stand, while the second window on the east wall keeps that side of the room bright.

In 3D
Like every Gridsnap plan, this template is simultaneously a 3D model — walls with real door and window openings — and a set of automatically generated elevations for all four façades.
