What is free, and what Pro adds

Free — no account needed Updated 2026-10-15

Everything needed to draw, furnish and finish a plan and get it out of the browser is free, with no watermarks and no trial limits. Pro is the layer on top: the parts that generate or coordinate for you, compare alternatives, check the plan further, or keep more than one project in sync.

Free

Drawing in millimetres, doors and windows, multiple storeys and basements, roofs, ceilings, stairs, terraces and the site, furniture and scale figures, floor, wall and furniture finishes chosen one surface at a time, the 3D view with saved views and overhead renders, the elevations and sections, dimensions, layers, schedules including the finish schedule, build-ups and U-values, share links, and export to PDF, DWG, DXF and PNG, with plans in the Technical or Textured style.

The mechanical plan check rules — the impossibilities, like two openings overlapping in one wall — are free too. So is one synced cloud project once you have an account.

Opening and viewing Massing also stays free, along with Finish in Drawing (which creates the walls and floors of a concept and hands them to Drawing), keeping the saved massing reference and releasing generated elements for independent editing. Ordinary Drawing edits remain free.

Pro

One bundle, and every payment option includes all of it:

  • Generated layouts and AI help with space planning — generate layouts from your rooms, each checked before you see it, and turn your description into a clearer brief and a suggested room list with sizes. You review every suggestion before anything changes. Space planning itself stays free: writing the brief, listing rooms, connecting them, drawing the spaces yourself and building the walls. Existing AI usage limits apply to reading a description; generating layouts uses no credits.
  • AI presentation images — turn a 3D view, a saved view or a storey seen from above into a realistic presentation image: as designed, lived-in, or in a palette to explore. Your plan stays unchanged, and the image is AI-generated, so details may differ from your design. Subscriptions include 50 images a month; 90-day Pro access includes 150 for the 90 days; 50 extra images cost $9 once and never expire. The overhead render stays free.
  • Massing authoring — draw building forms with exact dimensions, give storeys and wings their own heights, repeat storey sequences, add windows and fins to façades, and create linked walls, floors and frames in Drawing. Creating and reshaping massing requires Pro; the viewing, finish and release actions described above stay free.
  • Design options — create Options within a project and compare layouts side by side, with plain or textured plans, the finishes that differ room by room, and a switch between two options in 3D.
  • Room kits — preview and apply a coordinated set of room finishes in one step, and save your own kits to reuse. Browsing the kits, and finishing rooms one material at a time, stay free.
  • Finish schemes — save the project’s finishes as a named scheme, preview and compare it with the current finishes, and apply it in one step. Looking at, renaming and deleting saved schemes stays free.
  • Auto-measure — generate dimensions for plan and elevation views, then review and adjust the result.
  • Quantity takeoff — quantities from the elements modeled in your drawing. Quantities do not include material prices.
  • Unlimited synced cloud projects — save and sync more than one project with your account. The free tier syncs one.
  • Full cloud version history — browse saved cloud revisions and restore an earlier version.
  • Additional plan checks — room sizes, daylight, circulation, blocked doors and windows. These checks do not establish code compliance.
  • Heat-loss sheet — an indicative fabric heat-loss estimate from your model and its assumptions.
  • AI suggestions — Explain & Fix and furnishing a room. Existing AI usage limits apply (200 AI credits a month).

Describing a home and generating a plan from a written brief is experimental: it may produce incomplete or unsuitable layouts, and any result needs reviewing and editing. Existing AI usage limits apply.

The three ways to pay

90-day Pro access$39 once. One payment for 90 days. No automatic renewal.
Pro Monthly$19/month. Renews monthly until cancelled.
Pro Annual$149/year. Charged in full for a year, renews annually. 35% less than twelve months of Pro Monthly.

The same Pro features come with every payment option, unlimited projects included. 90-day Pro access is not limited to one project — it gives your account Pro for 90 days. Cancel a subscription to stop the next renewal; access continues until your paid period ends.

When it ends

When paid access ends, drawing and exports remain free. One project stays synced to your account. Other cloud projects remain available to open and edit as local copies. Paid tools and full cloud version history require Pro again. You can still view existing massing, finish it in Drawing and release generated elements. Resuming the saved massing reference for further authoring requires Pro.
